JAZZ IN THE COURTYARD WITH FRIENDS

You are invited to join the Friends for an afternoon of friendship, live music and culture, with our August event ~ Jazz in the Courtyard!

So many Friends enjoyed the luscious harmonies and live music from Grafton’s own VELOUR in April as a part of the PLUNGE Festival earlier this year. Experiencing live music in an exceptional space within the exhibitions of the Grafton Regional Gallery was such a joy, and we were overwhelmed with not only attendance at the event but community feedback afterwards! 

The Friends are pleased to announce that we are hosting another vibrant musical event in August:

JAZZ IN THE COURTYARD WITH FRIENDS

LIVE PERFORMANCE BY 

The Column 8 CT Jazz Band

This brew of music has jazz at its core. But it wanders into funk, blues, swing, reggae/dub, Latin and other ‘world’ music feels. It’s fun to play and to listen to – after all jazz is dance music.

Enjoy The Column 8 Conspiracy Theorists in the glorious sun-dappled courtyard, with drinks available at the Friends Bar, and canapes served by the Friends Committee.
