The Friends Committee has been busy getting ready for our first big event of 2024.  Join us for an afternoon of friendship and culture, to fundraise for the 2024 JADA Prize.  It will be a great opportunity to renew your membership for the 2024-25 financial year in advance (valid through to 30 June 2025) and bring along your friends to join up too.

Enjoy a live music show in the Gallery from Grafton’s own VELOUR –  it will be a fascinating experience to hear this Grafton group perform their original songs acapella in the acoustic of the new gallery spaces.

Drinks will be available at the Friends Bar, and canapes will be served in the Gallery courtyard.  Thank you to Bent Bridge Brewing & the Grafton Regional Gallery Team for your support.  This event is a part of the Clarence Valley plunge Art & Culture Festival program and is open to all members of the community –  whether you are a current Friend or a new Friend we are yet to meet!

 Ticket sales, as well as all purchases made over the Friends Bar at this event, will directly go towards tour fundraising for the 2024 Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award Prize.

The Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA) celebrates Australian contemporary drawing at its finest. The 2024 JADA is organised by Grafton Regional Gallery and is open to all artists residing in Australia aged over 18 years.
